The Official Trailer for "Extremespeed Genesect: The Awakening of Mewtwo" was released yesterday. The video shows off some action scenes with the standard Gensects and then the Big Red Bug shows up. Satoshi (Ash) says something like "It's speed is different!". The Red Bug gets ready to attack the crew and then Mewtwo shows up with a force field at the last second. Have you ever noticed the difference between the Japanese and Western Pokemon logos? A user on KnowYourMeme has made an image showing the main logos and how they've evolved since Red/Blue until X/Y. As you can see, the logo from the west hasn't changed at all, while the Japanese versions have had many new renditions over the ages. ...read more

The Official Japanese Pokemon website has put this special image up on their homepage. The image above is a translation of the original Japanese one (which is displayed below). When you click the image it takes you to an announcement page which basically says the same thing. There is some text that says you should "Bookmark this page" and "don't miss it!". ...read more
