Getting Started: User Guide
This Guide explains how to Send a Pokemon from PokEdit.com directly to your Nintendo DS game. Our GTS Service is compatible with the following Pokemon games: Pokemon Black 2, White 2, Black, White, HeartGold, SoulSilver, Platinum, Diamond, Pearl.
What you'll need:
• Nintendo DS or 3DS
• Compatible Pokemon Game
• Wireless Internet Connection
• Valid Friend Code
You'll need to have connected to Nintendo's Official GTS Server at least once to have receive a Friend Code. If you don't have your own Friend Code yet then please go to our

Step 1: How to Change your Nintendo DS or 3DS DNS Settings?
You'll need a working wireless connection established before you can connect to the PokEdit GTS Server. Make sure your wireless setting are correct and that you can connect to the Official Nintendo GTS Server before changing your DNS.
The process for changing your DNS will differ depending on your Nintendo DS Console and/or Pokemon game.
• Nintendo DS Fatty and DS Lite
In order to change the Internet/DNS settings on these handhelds, you'll have to access the Wi-Fi Settings from within the game. You'll need to access the Main Menu screen which is directly after the Title screen when you boot up your game.
Phase 1: Access the Wi-Fi Menu
Black 2, White 2, Black, White
From the Main Menu, scroll down to the NINTENDO WFC SETTINGS Option.
HeartGold, SoulSilver
From the Main Menu, scroll down to the NINTENDO WI-FI CONNECTION SETTING Option.
Platinum, Diamond, Pearl
From the Main Menu, scroll down to the NINTENDO WFC SETTINGS Option.
Big Blue Button
Click the Big Blue Button and proceed to Phase 2
Phase 2: Internet Set-Up (skip this step if you already have an internet connection set up)
Step 1
Before you can edit you're DSN, you'll have to establish an internet connection. Click on one of the None Options to start the set-up.
Step 2
Click Search for an Access Point to find your Wireless Router or Wireless Access Point.
Step 3
Now, choose the Network that you wish to connect to (probably your home network). The name of your network will appear where it says Your Wireless Network
Phase 3: Change DNS
Step 1
Click Ready button to edit the Internet Connection Settings.
Step 2
Next, scroll down to the Option that says Auto-obtain DNS. Click the No Option.
Step 3
You'll then enter the PokEdit GTS Server DNS which is 192.145.235.194.
Step 4
You'll then be asked if the settings are correct. Make sure they are, then click OK.
Step 5
Now you've succesfully changed your DNS. Click Save Settings and leave the Wi-Fi Menu.
• Nintendo DSi and DSi XL
In order to change the DNS settings, you'll have to access the System Menu in your actual DS Console. Please follow the steps below to change your DNS Settings. You need to have already set up an internet connect with your Nintendo DS before using this tutorial.
Step 1
Turn on your Nintendo DSi and proceed to the menu displayed above. Click the Wrench to enter the System Settings.
Step 2
From the next menu, scroll right two times until you see the Internet button. Click it.
Step 3
Now click the Connection Settings button.
Step 4
Now, click the Change Settings button.
Step 5
Click the Change Settings button.
Step 6
Next, scroll right until you reach the
Auto-Obtain DSN page. Click No.
Now, click Detailed setup.
Step 7
Click on the Primary DNS Field to change the address.
Step 8
You'll then enter the PokEdit GTS Server DNS which is 192.145.235.194. Then click OK.
Step 9
Now, click OK again. Then click Save. You'll then see the above screen. Click Yes to test your connection. Connection test succesful and you're finished.
Step 2: Add Pokemon to your PokEdit GTS Queue.
Phase 1: Send to Game Button
The first thing you'll need to do is locate a Pokemon that you want. There will be a Send to Game button for every Pokemon that can be sent wirelessly to your game. You can find these buttons in our Pokemon Databases and in our Pokemon Editor.
Phase 2: Enter Friend Code
After you click the Send to Game button a menu will pop open. If you haven't already entered your Friend Code then you'll need to click the Add new Friend Code button. Select your game and enter it's Friend Code. Once your friend code has been entered, you'll just have to select the game that you want to send the Pokemon to.
Phase 3: Manage your GTS Queue
After you've added a Pokemon to your Queue, the GTS Menu will pop open. You can have Queues for multiple games can manage all of them from this menu. The Pokemon at the top of the Queue is the one currently being sent to your game. Once you've collected that Pokemon, it will be removed from the list and the order of the queue will shift upwards.
You can remove Pokemon from your Queue by using the boot icon. You can also sort the order by dragging and dropping the rows.
Step 3:How to get Pokemon from the GTS in your game.
Accessing the GTS Server will be different depending on which game you are using. Please find your game below to see how to do it.
• Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 & Black and White
There is a Global Terminal located inside of every Pokemon Center. Inside any Pokemon Center, walk up the stairs to the top, right-hand side. Talk to the woman behind the counter nearst the spinning globe.
Step 1
Go to any Pokemon Center in the game. There is one located in every city.
Step 2
Enter the Pokemon Center and walk up the stairs in the back, right-hand side of the building.
Step 3
Talk to the farthest right woman, behind the counter. Then select the Global Trade Option.
Step 4
Now, select the GTS Option.
Step 5
Next, select the Trade Option.
Step 6
You will then be prompted to save. Select YES to save your game.
Step 7
You will be prompted to connect to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connect. Select YES to proceed.
Step 8
Wait a moment while your DS connects to the GTS Server. After which, you'll be dropped into the GTS Room.
Step 9
The Pokemon should automatically start trasnfering to your game when you enter the room.

• Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver
The Global Terminal is located in Goldenrod City. You need to play your game until you can access the Global Terminal before you can connect to GTS Servers. Once you have access to the Global Terminal, please follow the steps below to access the GTS.
Pre Step
To access the Global Terminal, you will need to travel to Goldenrod City.
Step 1
Once you get to Goldenrod City, head over to the Global Terminal and enter the building.
Step 2
Walk to the back, left-hand side of the building after entering.
Step 3
Talk to the woman behind the counter.
Step 4
Select the Trade Option on the bottom DS screen.
Step 5
You will then be prompted to save.
Select YES.
Step 6
You will be prompted to connect to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connect. Select YES to proceed.
Step 7
Wait a moment while your DS connects to the GTS Server. After which, you'll be dropped into the GTS Room.
Step 8
The Pokemon should automatically start trasnfering to your game after you enter the room.
• Pokemon Platinum, Diamond and Pearl
The Global Terminal is located in Jubilife City. You need to play your game until you can access the Global Terminal before you can connect to GTS Servers. Once you have access to the Global Terminal, please follow the steps below to access the GTS.
Pre Step
To access the Global Terminal, you will need to travel to Jubilife City.
Step 1
Once you arrive in Jubilife City, head over to the Global Terminal and enter the building.
Step 2
Walk to the back, left-hand side of the building after entering.
Step 3
Talk to the woman behind the counter.
Step 4
Select the Trade Option.
Step 5
You'll then be prompted to save. Select YES. After saving your trainer will enter the GTS room.
Step 6
You will be prompted to connect to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connect. Select YES to proceed.
Step 7
Wait a moment while your DS connects to the GTS Server. After which, you'll be dropped into the GTS Room.
Step 8
The Pokemon should automatically start transferring to your game after you enter the room.

Final Thoughts
Now that you completed all 3 Steps you can send an endless amount of Pokemon to your game. You can set up multiple Queues in the GTS Menu if you have more than one game. Don't forget that you can use the
Editor to create custom Pokemon!
