The editor now stores files directly to your PokEdit account. Previously, it could only store files in the browser cookie, so if you deleted your browser cookies then you'd lose access to them (that's still the case if you don't make an account though). If you have any files that already exist in the "My Files" tab in the editor, they will be transferred to your account automatically when you log in. It's that easy! Files connected to accounts are never deleted, so you can save them forever!

Now that PokEdit v2 has finally launched, we're going to start working on some new and improved Editor features. As of now, you can edit and download any single PKM file from the editor. But, we can do better than that.  Here some new features that we plan on rolling out in the next couple of months.  They'll probably be released in chronological order, but no guarantees on that.1. Upload PKM We're really close to adding PKM upload support. I know the button is already there, but it doesn't work yet :( This will be one of the first new additions to the editor.  It should come in handy if you want to add one of your own PKMs to a file or add an event Pokemon that we don't currently have in the Event PKM Database.2. Full Box Download / All Box Download Downloading 1 PKM isn't enough. We'll be adding full box PKM download support and all Box PKM download support as soon as possible.  This will make it much easier to import mass amounts of PKMs to save files you have on your computer.  Y

Did you know that there are 4 different Reset Options in the Editor? Here's why there's 4 options and how/when you'll want to use them. To access the Reset Options, click the Reset Options button located in the Editor Header. Here's what the page looks like once you're there:Reset Options Page Option 1: Default Pokemon This option will change all of the Pokemon to the original Editor defaults (the way it was when  you first created the file).  This option will not effect any information on the Trainer Tab or the Items Tab.  This option is usefully if you made a file and were monkeying around with the Pokemon, learning how to use the editor.  You can Reset all of the Pokemon and start over fresh.Option 2: Delete Pokemon This option will not effect any information that you've entered on the Trainer Tab or the Items tab.  This will do exactly what it's name suggests; delete all of the Pokemon.  This will create an empty Slot for all 30 slots in every box.  This option is nice if you pla

I wanted to let everybody know that we have a new affiliate partner. The website is www.sora.net.au and the webmaster is moltres93. Moltres is definitely the star of the show over there. Pokemon news has been a little slow lately. That includes Official PokEdit news. But, we're still going to try and keep it fresh here. There's plenty of cool Pokemon artwork and videos that are ripe for the picking. When we find the good ones, we'll post them here. Since the news is a little slow I'll give you an update on what we're working on behind the scenes at PokEdit.com. Currently, the site isn't as fast as we'd like it to be. So, in the next couple of weeks, we're going to be making some changes on the back end to try and speed things up a little bit. Here's a couple new features we're working on implementing:Full Save Support Save file support is currently in the works. When we're finished, you'll be able to upload your very own files and edit them directly. You'll also be able to download the files. So, you can create files from scratch with the editor and load them onto your own games. Or, upload your own files and edit them how you want. That also makes our editor a great

There hasn't been a lot of Pokemon news or PokeEdit updates recently.  But, don't let that get you down. We've been working on updating some old pages on the site and they should be online in the next week or so. The Download section and the Home Page of the site are going to be getting a facelift. There is a Event being held at Isetan Scotts in Singapore from May 11, 2012 until May 20, 2012. Isetan Scotts seems to be some sort of department store or mall. The event is going to be held on the 4th floor (if you're there, then you'll need to know that ). There's going to be quite a few different things going on at this event. A Pikachu will be distributed for Pokemon players with an English or Japanese copy of Pokemon Black or White.  Apparently, this Pikacha is same one that was handed out last month in Japan for the Tohoku Pokemon Center Pikachu Festival. I'll list PKM details at the end of the article. There's going to be some "Attractive prizes to be won!" Looks like you'll be able to play some Pokemon motion censor games on a large screen. There's also going to be Limited Pokemon Merchandise. There's a Pencil Case, Soft Toy (Pikachu plushy?) and a Water Bottle. This seems to be the month of Piplup. Following the Piplup C-Gear Skin release was an announcement about a Piplup Event coming later this month in Japan. The Pokemon Searcher BW is an event to celebrate Golden Week in Japan. The event will be at the Nagashima Super Dome in Nagashima Spa Land, Mie Prefecture Kuwana City. The event will be held from April 28, 2012 until May 6th, 2012. The official Korean Pokemon site recently revealed an upcoming Event for Pokemon Black and Pokemon White.  This is a Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Event that is happening in conjunction with the airing of a two-part anime episode about the Kami Trio. The anime Episode is airing on the Tooniverse TV channel in the South Korea.  The Wi-Fi Event is being held from May 14, 2012 until July 5, 2012. Players with Pokemon Black will be able to get a Thundurus. Pokemon White Players will get a Tornadus. You'll be able to use either of these Pokemon Genies in the game to catch a Landorus at the Abundant Shrine without having to trade. Images from the newest Corocoro have started surfacing. This issue seems to be jam packed and loaded with new Pokemon information. The biggest news seems to be that the Kami Trio have new formes in Black 2 and White 2. The formes that we've already seen are known as their Incarnation Formes. The new formes that have been revealed are their Sacred Beast Formes. Apparently, they all have the same types no matter the forme they are in. I'll go over a list of release from each pages of the scans. Xous54 has recently made some new artwork of Kyurem's new formes: White Kyurem and Black Kyurem. Xous54 has many pieces of work in the Sugimori art style. Ken Sugimori is the dood that does most of the official artwork for all the Pokemon. Xous54 has also put together a nice guide on how to draw in the Sugimori style. I'll post some of Xous54's works here, but I highly suggest that you check out the entire gallery on DeviantArt. Shady app developer Home of Anime​ has realeased a Pokemon Yellow app on iTunes that jumped to number 3 over the weekend on the sales charts. Varying reports suggest that the game doesn't even work once you're passed the title screen. It's received many one star reviews in the app store but is still selling like mad. I wouldn't expect it to be around for long if you'd like to see what this bold theft looks like. However, as Ars Technica points out, it's proof positive that if Nintnendo ever did put their software on another mobile platform, they would not be lacking in sales.  via Ars Technica
